What your business gets on day one

31 Jul 2026 4 min read platform hosting

Starting a business online normally means assembling it: a registrar here, a host there, a mail provider, a repo, a CMS, an analytics script, and a evening spent copying DNS records between four tabs and hoping.

A Helstify business arrives assembled. Here is the whole inventory.

A server that is actually yours

Your business gets its own isolated container — not a folder on a shared builder, not a subdomain. Memory, disk and CPU are set by your plan and stated in real numbers on the pricing page, because "unlimited" on a page is a promise somebody's hardware has to keep.

You get a file manager in the panel that browses the real container filesystem. Upload, edit, download, and see what the folder actually holds rather than just how many items are in it. What you see is what is serving.

A domain, on real nameservers

When Helstify suggests a name, it has already checked the registry over RDAP — and only a confirmed "not registered" counts as free. A timeout or a rate-limit is treated as taken, so you never get told a domain is available and find out at checkout that it isn't.

Once you have a domain, you get a full DNS console on our own authoritative nameservers: A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, SRV and CAA records, edited directly, published within minutes. Already own a domain? There's a guided cutover that tells you exactly what to change at your registrar and then verifies it actually took.

Mail on your own domain

Not forwarding. Not a "reply-to" trick that lands in spam.

Real mailboxes at you@yourbusiness.com, with webmail built in, and — the part that usually eats an afternoon — one-click DNS setup for SPF, DKIM and DMARC. Those three records are the difference between your invoices arriving and your invoices going to junk, and getting them right by hand is genuinely fiddly.

There's a deliverability screen that checks the records are actually published and correct, rather than assuming.

A Git connection

Link a repository with a token and your container can pull and push directly. Your code lives in your repo from the first commit, so there is no export step later — there's nothing to export from.

Credentials are stored in a credential-helper file, never embedded in the remote URL where they'd end up in logs and git remote -v output.

26 groups of business tools

Ready-made tools for the work every business has: writing and rewriting, SEO snippets, review replies, data cleanup, financial calculations, and more.

Two things about them worth knowing. First, they're real code, not prompts dressed up as features — your agent is already a language model, so wrapping a prompt in a button would be adding a worse model to a better one. Second, they're available over an API, so your own AI agent can call them directly rather than you copying results around.

146 capabilities you can switch on

This is the part that grows with you.

The panel isn't a fixed set of features. You choose what your business actually does from a catalogue of 146 capabilities across 11 categories — selling and getting paid, marketing, customer relationships, scheduling, inventory, support, analytics and the rest.

Crucially, the catalogue lists jobs, not products. There's one entry for "email marketing", not four competing tools for you to research and choose between. When you switch one on, your business's own AI council picks suitable software, installs it into your container, and wires it into the panel.

That means the software is yours, running on your machine, and swapping it later doesn't change anything about how you manage it.

And the numbers you care about

From a catalogue of 57 metrics, you pick up to eight to watch at the top of your panel. A shop watches orders and stock. A studio watches billable hours. You aren't handed someone else's idea of a dashboard.

Every tile shows honest state: if something isn't set up yet, it says so rather than showing a plausible-looking zero.

What it costs

Plans start at $15/month during launch (normally $29), including the server, the domain management, the mailbox, the council and everything above.

Three idea validations a month are free, no card. Start with an idea and see whether it's worth building before you spend anything.

Try it

Describe an idea. See it scored honestly.

Three validations a month, free, no card. Helstify will tell you when an idea won't work — that's rather the point.
